In 1974, Farrell's commissioned a promotional video from Gerber Advertising in Portland, Oregon. This video was used to recruit new locations for Farrell's parlours. Bob Farrell told me he had this film playing non-stop in a kiosk at a Shopping Center Convention in 1975 and signed up 35 locations as a result. Since 1975 was also the year that Farrell's suffered its fiscal meltdown, I suspect that many of those 35 locations never got built. I had a copy of this film sitting in a box in my closet since I left Farrell's in 1986. Now, for the first time in 30 years, it can be seen in its entirety. Warning - this is a large file. |
